This involved the preparation of the noise and vibration EIA chapter for the extension of the Quinn Cement site at Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan in order to implement alternative fuels. A baseline noise study was carried out followed by the development of a computational model (CadnaA) of the existing site. The proposed extensions to the site were represented in the noise model to predict the noise impact as a result of changes. A report was prepared and issued to the client and this was submitted as part of the EIA for the project.
The consultant for this project was David Cawley however this may not have been with Allegro Acoustics Ltd.
