Allegro Acoustics completed all aspects of acoustic design for Betania Church, Blanchardstown, Co. Dublin. Upon first translating the description of acoustic characteristic requirements to acoustic performance criteria, Allegro Acoustics then developed an extensive 3D acoustic model for the space using ODEON Room Acoustic Modelling software to deliver this space according to the client requirements. Through the modelling and design process, Allegro Acoustics specified a wide array of acoustically absorbing, reflecting and deflecting materials. Allegro Acoustics worked extensively with the Architect and Client to determine the most aesthetically suitable and practical solutions which also achieved the acoustic performance criteria. Betania Church provides a congregation point for the community and a performance venue for large scale events. The main space within the facility is a 1500 seat venue which is acoustically designed for live music performances. The space is designed to provide the optimum acoustic environment to suit amplified music with percussion and choral performance.
